Pepperstone deposits are free for all methods, and most withdrawals are processed within 1 business day. Bank wire is the slowest option, with withdrawals taking up to 7 business days. The only Pepperstone withdrawal fee is $20 for international bank wires under the Bahamas license.

Withdrawals must go back to the method you used to deposit, in your name or a joint name. Planning your deposit method with this in mind is the easiest way to keep withdrawals fast.

Deposits and withdrawals are only one part of choosing a broker. Our full Pepperstone review covers the rest.

How long do Pepperstone withdrawals take?

Most Pepperstone withdrawals are processed within 1 business day, including card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, crypto, and local methods. Australian BPAY and PayID withdrawals take up to 2 business days, and bank wire withdrawals take up to 7 business days.

These are Pepperstone’s processing times, not the time it takes for the money to reach you. Your bank or payment provider may take longer to show the funds, especially for international bank wires and card refunds.

Pepperstone withdrawal fees

Pepperstone charges no withdrawal fees for cards, e-wallets, crypto, or local methods. The only fee is $20 for international bank wire withdrawals under the Bahamas license.

Pepperstone not charging a fee does not mean the transfer is free end to end. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may add its own charges, and a currency conversion charge applies if you withdraw in a currency other than your account’s base currency.

Pepperstone withdrawal rules

Pepperstone sends withdrawals back to the method you used to deposit. Funds can only be paid to a card or bank account in your name or a joint name, never to a third party.

Return-to-source rules like this are standard across regulated brokers. This means the method you pick when you deposit determines how you get your money out, so choose a method you are comfortable receiving funds on.

How to withdraw from Pepperstone

To withdraw from Pepperstone, follow these four steps.

  1. Log in to the client area: sign in to your Pepperstone client area with your account details.
  2. Choose withdraw: select the withdrawal option and choose the trading account you want to withdraw from.
  3. Select your method: choose the same method you used to deposit, in your name.
  4. Enter the amount and confirm: submit the request, then check that you have enough free margin remaining for any open positions.

Withdrawing funds you need as margin for open trades can trigger a margin call or stop-out, so close or reduce positions first if your free margin is low.

Pepperstone account currencies

Pepperstone Standard and Razor accounts can be opened in ten base currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, JPY, NZD, SGD, and HKD. Depositing and withdrawing in your account’s base currency avoids a conversion charge.

If your bank account or card uses a different currency, the funds are converted when you deposit and again when you withdraw. Choosing a base currency that matches your bank account helps keep these costs down.

Bottom Line

Pepperstone makes funding easy, with free deposits for every method and most withdrawals processed within 1 business day. In our assessment, cards and e-wallets are the fastest and cheapest options for most traders. The $20 international wire fee and the return-to-source rule are the two factors to plan for.
