Bruce Hartley

Bruce Hartley has eleven years of experience in retail trading, broker research, and financial markets analysis across the Asia-Pacific region. He began his career as a forex trader at a Sydney-based proprietary trading firm before moving into broker research and financial journalism. He has covered the Australian, Singaporean, and New Zealand retail trading markets extensively.

At Forex Broker Rating, Bruce is responsible for reviewing and rating brokers across the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on ASIC-regulated firms, MAS-regulated Singapore brokers, and offshore brokers serving Australian and regional retail clients. He personally opens and tests trading accounts as part of every review and pays particular attention to the gap between how brokers present themselves in their marketing and what traders actually experience.

Bruce holds a degree in Economics from the University of Sydney and is based in Sydney, Australia.
